Default miracles do occur

i shouldnt even be typing this right now. i just rolled over a giant embakement and hit a tree and was able to crawl out and walk away. i dont even know what to say but im in so much shock that i just had to tell somebody. the paramedics that were on the scene said they didnt even know how me and my 2 friends were even still alive. apparantly they said that the giant tree i hit saved our lives because it stopped our roll. ill try to post pics of the car later (not the 944, but an izuzu rodeo suv) its torn up. the roof on the drivers side is halfway down the seat and i dont even remember how i got out. im just glad that me and my buddies walked away only with minor cuts and a memory that will last forever

You're near the U-Distcrict in Seattle? 'bout five miles away from me.

Glad you're OK!

well i was coming around this retarded turn that got sharper out of nowhere. we had just got new $600 brakes installed on the car literally 30 minutes before i crashed it, so the ceramic brakes had a much different feel then the old completely worn out ones. anyway i stepped on the brake and it immediately started a slide. i was able to control it and almost stopped but wasnt able to and slid down the giant hill. if that tree hadnt been there, i wouldve kept rolling down the hill a few times and then i wouldve gone right into the middle of the street, but by that time i wouldve been dead anyway. when the paramedics came they were surprised that we were the ones in the car because we only had minor cuts on us. one of them came right up and said "you should be dead right now, there should be no survivors of that crash and yet you walked out of it" after the car stopped rolling i was upside down pinned between the car and the tree with my head being crushed into the my legs and yet i still somehow escaped. im still amazed and ive been thinking it over for a long time

Wow, close one indeed.

Reminds me of a friend I used to have named Phil. He claimed to have swerved to miss a "squirel-cat thing," and slammed into a ditch at 70mph and rolled about 6 times. Until a tree stopped him, and all he had was dirt on him from the sunroof. He also wasn't very bright... he said he thought it was cool how it would get light and dark in the car as it rolled. The paramedics said he should've died too..

is it because you were going to church you were saved...
or
is it if you didnt go to church you would not have gotten into an accident?

to walking away. Get yourself looked at by a Dr anyway. you dont know if there is internal damage.

How much for the used brake pads?
