Actually that's not the case at all. 308 timing belt changes are done easily through the rear-passenger side wheel well. Ditto for the clutch on the other side. Get rid of the sodium-filled valves that came on the 2V models and the engine is much more robust than a 944 could ever be.

Three Wheelin'
You might own a 944 if you keep searching in other cars for the special way only a 944 can cause a gentle wind swirl at your left temple when the window is down.
You might own a 944 when you are forever amazed at what the car can do. After years of driving, on the track and street, it brakes and handles, can move a small apartment worth of belongings, get through snow storms, get good gas mileage and out run a most higher performance cars on the road but it doesnt have a speed limiter, at least my car didnt. Of course the BMW MZ3 pulled away from me but its like it hit wall at around 200kph, I just got out of 4th gear then.
On the track my slightly modified 951 was track champion for 3 years, earning some respect from the 930s.

If you like Mopar, you are my friend!
That Daytona of mine is one of the easiest car's to work on. Parts are dirt cheap too, twenty bucks for a water pump.
A 308 owner told me the timing belt took 40 hours to change. I met him at a car meet. He was a real nice guy and I didn't think he was making stuff up.

You enjoy people asking you what year your 80's Ferrari is...

The maintenance guy at my old apartment complex legitimately thought it was a Ferrari for almost 2 years. He would always drive past in his gator-cart and say hello whenever I was wrenching on it, and one day he said "man, I love that ferrari ***." It took me a minute, I don't think he ever read the badge...

if you install a short stroke LS7 and you run out of fuel on the dyno at 4000 rpm....
https://rennlist.com/forums/968-foru...-968-a-31.html
how do we fix this prolllem?
when you drive it..... like,
you see like these little spaces like 2, 3000 feet up the road......
and it goes right where you point it....
like you're playing a video game speeding straight to (as near as makes no difference) 200(mph).
