My battery tray has a plate that holds onto a ledge on the bottom of the battery. Is the bolt/plate missing on yours?

^ that bracket seems much more important than 17" wheels, power door locks, or a set of coilovers.

you own at least one other 944 for parts (but its also so you can tell people you have a "Porsche Collection"

The 911 was to nice to use a a DD

You own every type of socket adapter allowing you to remove any type of bolt at any angle even if half the threads are forward threaded and half reverse.

You are in college but insist on owning a Porsche...

Dave

87 944S here

when fixing one thing only makes you realize there are about 5 more things wrong.
when all the kids at your highschool envy your car because it says "Porsche" and "S"
when you rev it over 4k rpm and smell a nice mixture of burning power steering fluid and clutch
when its just as fast as a brand new BRZ/FRS

^ I had a 924S in high school it was great all the smells and noises made it the most unique car in the parking lot. Im not a junior in college now still have the 924S but have added an 87 944, and 78 911SC to the collection.

Regards
Dave

...if you realize it is probably the most high maintenance car EVER yet still continue tossing money at it, not because you can, but because you have to.
