Albert and I and Brad are planning on driving up to the 944 Fest at Nelsen Ledges on Thursday August 9th. Looks to be about an 11 hour drive straight up Hwy 75 to Cincy and then Hwy 71 across Ohio. We will probably meet up at the Cobb Galleria early - maybe 7 or 8 to avoid traffic and then head out. That would get us up there around 6 or 7 depending on any stops along the way.

I figure the more P-cars that we can join up with the more fun the drive would be and the higher the concentration of radar detectors - haha - like there will be any speeding Anyways - please let me know if you are interested in joining up.

Also - this will be the first Fest for me so if anyone has any pointers as to what to bring etc. that would be appreciated. Does pretty much everyone camp out or is there a hotel nearby that we can crash at as well?

I'm going from Louisville on Thursday, might meet up with some guys from Cinncy. Bring a cooler (with your favorite beverages), ice, whatever snacks you like to eat during the day, a pop up is nice, some folding chairs, tools (ya never know, I needed them last year), sun block, mosquito block, stuff to clean your car for the show and shine, your own helmet if you're tracking (it gets really sweaty).

myself and my brother in "law" dv8nsx944 will be heading up to TJ (darthcoupes) house around 1pm thursday and leaving around 2p to head up to Nelsons. Anyone know what time you are going to get around cincy? We could meet up near my house or up at TJ's off of 71n around 2.

Josh-- I would love to. I've been trying to get out that way for 3 years now and something always comes up. This year I will be in the Bahamas from the 9th to the 14th. There is always next year, though

Dan - I figure 7 hours to Cincy so that would be two or three. Might be quicker depending on how the lay of the land is. Sure would be fun to meet up for lunch Maybe I can check into us leaving earlier like around 6ish.

Hey Dallas - didn't mean to leave you out man! We will be meeting up at the Cobb Galleria parking lot in the morning on August 9th. It is right there at 75 ad 285 on the north side of Atlanta.
