Default A Question About Color

Can someone tell me how different marachino red is from garnet red, it looks like it is a shade or two darker from the pictures I have seen but I can't tell. Anyone seen them side by side?

Maraschino

Garnet

Maraschino is a more brown/mahogany color, like my car.

Garnet has more red/burgundy to it.

Dr and Daredevil - you have GORGEOUS cars...I love that color...Daredevil, has yours been painted recently? Do you guys think if I had my car (mahogany brown metallic) resprayed in maraschino, the engine bay would be close? It's the same color as the outside but without the sparkle.

I think it might be close as I do not remember mine being that metallic. The colors have to be close as many times people think the car is brown.

On the topleft picture of your signature it looks brown..

then again so does a 50th anniversary Corvette on a cloudy day.

Must be more of a sunny color

Thanks V2! Yes, my car was repainted. She does look pretty when she’s wet
