Default Auto-X Pictures from PCA-OCR Event

Micheal (ninefofo) and myself attended a PCA auto-x in Irvine, CA yesterday. I thought I'd have to spend today fixing whatever broke on the car during the event, but oddly enough it stayed together. Here are some pictures with my crappy cell-phone-camera-quality point and shoot:

Top time of the day came from a GT2 on Hoosiers with a 56.xx (see picture #6, silver, first row of the grid). For Michael's first time out he ran a fantastic 67.xx and I was able to squeek off a 65.6x. Not bad for a 19 year old car on old street tires.

It was so much fun. Really well run event. We got 11 runs (8 practice, 3 timed). Seeing all of those P-cars out there burning rubber was very brand inspirational. Chris has built a really great car. Car was set-up and ran flawlessly. I still cannot believe he let my fat *** drive it. He got lots of compliments. Best was, some swarthy racer in a 67 912 (dude flew with a 60 second time) called Chris' car "well buttoned down and fabulous". My guess is better street tires would knock 2 or 3 seconds off. R compounds 4-7 seconds. Chris was nice and smooth out there. I had some back stretch orientation issues but it was a blast. Perfect way to spend a Sunday. Thanks Chris. Thanks Rennlist.
