The Ltronic is fine. Seriously. Add a 5th fuel or water injector, it really is not that difficult - just dont hope for much with 10:1 compression. The system may not be "high resolution" but it is tunable just like any other, and decent compensations can be made with it.

If you have to use a supercharger, clearly you dont have the money for a Motronic, and arent expecting serious HP gains. Compromises, compromises.

Site owner's name is John Anderson. He has the supercharger labeled for S2's but if you read the description its supposed to be for the 8valvers too.
Anderson is the biggest scum bag to ever disgrace this board...with the debatable exception of Danno. Do a search.

I did a search and found nothing negative - post us a link so we can see what you're on about.

You're either a liar or search is WAY too complicated for you.
I'd suggest that you read the following threads completely, though I suspect the words will be lost on you.

https://rennlist.com/forums/924-931-944-951-968-forum/117227-just-a-few-words-before-i-go.html

https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...ferrerid=14903
here's another
https://rennlist.com/forums/944-and-944s-forum/149805-more-trouble-with-john-anderson-of-anderson-motorworks.html

and yet another.

https://rennlist.com/forums/944-turbo-and-turbo-s-forum/137174-oilpan-removal.html
in this final thread the back story is that Anderson and his idiots installed David Floyd's rings UPSIDE DOWN! and didn't reimburse him either.
Starting to get the point?

BTW I got these in a simple search for the word Anderson.

I don't know his numbers, but his current dilema is that he can't get any more power unless he were to rebuild the engine with lower compression parts.

If you really want a supercharged car, find a turbo motor and stick a sc on it. It'll already be set up for boost and whatnot.

I was thinking about that last night. Maybe I'd find some 951 pistons and swap them out.

Thanks for all the feedback, now I need another opinion:

Roots-type or centrifugal? Roots works more in the low-end, but these motors have torque down low for around-town driving, and power currently comes on about 3k. Centrifugal works in the higher RPMs, almost like a K26 snail. You guys are more familiar with the powerband of the NA motors than I...which would you rather have: low-end grunt or high-RPM power?

For simplicity sake I would rather just have a 951 and get the best of both worlds. The parasitic drag from a kit SC can cause issues with the AC idle step up and cause the car to run rougher around town with the AC on. For the price of most kits I've seen I don't think it's worth the questionable gains and expense of the other mods to make it happen. The uniqueness factor is cool but the $$/HP factor is very high. You end up with a car that only you are familiar with if issues do develop requiring a shop. Just my $.02 worth.

Quick easy power = NAWZ. lol

A supercharger really isnt worth it with so many turbo's and turbo motors available.

KuHl - I don't have AC

pj - I realize that turbo motors are far more tuneable for ridiculous amounts of power at minimal cost. However, I am only playing with this idea to be a little different from the boost crowd. I am in no way committed to this idea...I'd end up using parts off a 951 anyways (higher-boost pistons for example).

But the SCs make that whirr sound that I so love....

Just over tighten your balance shaft belt if the SC sound is what you are after

lol I have the belt whine and thoroughly enjoy it because people THINK its supercharged. However I think it would be better if I had a real SC; it would sound like I have TWO.
