Default Was a 21 gallon tank really necessary?

in a 4 cylinder decent gas mileage vehicle?

Just saying because it just cost me 72 dollars to fill the tank with 93 when i drained it after suspecting bad gas..

and yes, I realize that it makes no difference if i spend 72 today or 30 this week and 30 next week, it still hurts the brain to wrap it around that figure.

What does 91 run in CA? I suppose you don't get 93...
We are at 3.27 at most places for 93 today.

Yeah, it was a hell of a shock the first time I filled the tank. But as it happened, there was a guy in front of me filling the tank of his 80s Mercedes SL-class convertible. He saw the look on my face and smiled.

"Yours has a big 80s gas tank too, eh?"

You need to unchip and go back to 87. I paid 3.09 in Smithfield today. It was 2.99 in MA this past weekend.

I only have the 17 gallon tank, but it is nice to go from CT, pick up a girl in MA, do a rally and sightseeing in Newport, drop said girl off, get back to CT, and have 1/4 of a tank after 300 miles.

$1.13 here for a litre so 1.13X3.8= $4.30 a us gallon for 87 octane... so you guys are all whiners it could be worse right? and its going to get worse dont worry ... just sell your turbo and buy and N/A better fuel milage
I think there are going to be quite a few Can I N/A my turbo threads around here... so if anyone wants to trade me straght across before the turbo price plumets and the N/A's skyrocket, you know how to reach me... I will even throw in my 18's and 295 P-Zeros

I saw 93 for over $4 this weekend here in Chicago for the first time. I felt like I was getting a deal filling up outside of town for only $3.65/gallon. And then I thought about it and... d'oh!

The fuel lines are made for gasoline; ethanol is corrosive and will wear down or destroy the rubber.
