I saw something similar on some pics here on rennlist. Earlier today doing my craigslist search i found this car with the "sleepy eye look". http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/car/322103037.html

Not my taste, I think the recessed buckets look the best. Very interested in the flush mount.

There are a couple Miata kits (from Brainstorm and Moss) that replace the 7" lights with twin smaller lights. I had a set on my previous Miata.

What happened to Porschefile's original upgrade with the 240SX twin headlights? Anyone know.

I'll shoot him a PM.

I think it's more like, we all start on projects then learn to appreciate our cars engineering enough to leave them alone for awhile.

You know, I was very curious to see how the original poster's fixed headlight look would turn out. Then I saw a Hyundai Tiburon with similar headlights on the road. Then I saw the 2nd gen acura integra tooling around in a glow of neon. Then I remembered some 80s and 90s era camaros and corvettes I've seen with aftermarket headlights. Who wants a 944 with a nose that looks like a Hyundai, and who wants to send the message that I think those chevy owners did, which was: I don't think my car is special enough so I slapped these lights on them.

The flip-up lights are integral to the look of the 924/944.

Now, the only headlight cover mods I think I'd consider are the low-profile flippers from DeutschNine, or a set of clears similar to those on C-GTs.
