The flip-up lights are integral to the look of the 924/944.

Now, the only headlight cover mods I think I'd consider are the low-profile flippers from DeutschNine, or a set of clears similar to those on C-GTs.
This is the look I want. I assume this is what you mean by C-GT (924 Carrera GTS)


Flip up lights make the nose look rather generic, and to the unobservant, it looks like a 240SX or a Ford Probe.

I always thought it was a shame that the 944 didn't keep more of the 924 GTS front styling.
