So I'm a pretty level headed guy, but something happened to me, well my car, the other day that about sent me over the edge!

I was filling my car up at the gas station (which has about 20 pumps and plenty of room) and some lady went to pull between me and the car on the other pump to get thru to another pump. Long story short...she HIT MY MIRROR with her car! The only good part of this is my car's PO put little leather "bras" over the mirrors, so that saved it from any damage. I always thought those things looked a little silly, but due to some chips on the paint, I left them on. Glad I did. So the lady gets out of her car and proceeds to pump her gas like nothing happened! Anyway, while I was still fuming, I actually asked her to appologize (she wasn't going to) and she thought I meant to the car. She looked my car in the "eye" (hood) and said sorry. As mad as I was, I could barely help myself from laughing at that move.

Anyone else with a similar story?

 

there was one but if i told the story that would be an admission of guilt, and theres no statute of limitations on murder.

 

It should be legal to hit someone that hit your car. I probably would have smacked a b*tch. I suppose some will commend your restraint. Glad your car wasn't hurt, though.

 

walk up to her car and bend the mirror in and walk away! Simple as that I dont tolerate that crap!

 

I opened my door once and my mirror glass fell on the ground and shattered, I was pissed I couldn't blame anyone...

 

My 944 has been keyed, shot with an arrow, and backed into twice
My old 924 was rear ended and turned into (truck nearly drove over the front corner in a parking lot)

 

Abso****inlutely. I live in Tucson and drivers here are TERRIBLE. If you don't tell them they messed up, they'll keep on obliviously driving ****ty...

yeah my previous car was parked next to a speed bump. anyway, some douchebag tried to circumvent the speed bump and hit my car. I never saw it happen; hit and run. But from then on it looked like I had rear-ended someone -- I take pride in my driving!


Come to think of it, every accident I've ever been involved with has taken place in a parking lot -- AND EVERY TIME MY CAR HAS BEEN HIT WHILE PARKED! That's four times!

 

Well you are in Great Falls I grew up in Lethbridge Alberta. So Actually I can see anyones car being shot with an Arrow.

Why is it so hard to drive carefully...

I'm thinking about buying a big battery pack and installing it under the cargo cover in the hatch; hook up the batteries to the body so if anyone comes along with keys out they get ~150V.

 

I think Ted Nugent prefers Guns. I know I do. It's just not legal to shoot people for being stupid.
