I have a pair of Euro GT2 Perlon seats that I am about to mount in my 968 M030. I thought they might bolt in but they do not. Any suggestions about mounting options?
I would prefer to use they exisiting OEM side mounts and either utilize an adapter to mount the sliders to the floor, modify the existing sliders, or replace the slider if possible, with correct sliders.
The sliders on the GT2 seats currently are the type that have the front mounting tab bent downward. My 968 has three holes for mounting each slider to the floor with different hole patterns at the two holes at the rear of the slider for the inboard and outboard side.

I believe you will need a adapter plate made by a company called Wedge Engineering...i think Recaro makes one also specifically for the 944 / 993 / 968..etc. The bracket bolts to the factory mounting locations and has extra holes spaced correctly for the Recaro sliders / side mounts (whichever combonation you choose).

I would absolutley call StableEnergies to insure this is what you need.

I did see that Brey-Krause makes seat mounts (side type) for GT3 seats, but wanted to use the OEM if possible - was thinking more in terms of using existing GT3 OEM seat side mounts and adapting or replacing seats rails.
I'll call Brey-Krause and Stable-Energies to see about what they have - in the meantime if anyone has done this installation by modifying/swapping sliders, I'd be interested.

I am going to look into the tab bending idea - if the mounting holes then line up and if the seat is then positioned properly front to back it could be a simple solution. I am not sure this would allow use of all three mounting holes on each rail (two in the rear and one in the front - so would have to be confident on a single rear and the front hold down fastener.)

No advice on how to do the job in question properly, other than think METAL brackets!
I just had to get that off my chest about the plywood interior parts.![surrender](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/surrender.gif)
