944 windshield ballpark replacement cost??
can anyone give me a ball park on this?? don't care if its oem just as long as its clean and free from cracks. Is there a good used source? do seals need replacing?? tia.

I've gotten the job done for around ~$400 with labor for a late-model non-OEM windshield (with antenna built-in) at my local shops in NorCal.

in Colorado with Elite Auto Glass, the early windshield is $170.00 installed. the late w/ the antenna in the glass is around $470.00. aftermarket prices for both.

The early windshield is narrower with metal trim and did not have an antenna. The later ones were either no antenna, antenna, airbag glass with antenna. and airbag no antenna for the 968. BTW they early and late don't swap. I replaced an early (non-Sekurit) for $177 about 2 years ago.

Get a 968 windshield, they had an external antenna. I'm pretty sure it fits a late car just fine.

Devon got the best deal I've ever heard of on late glass.
Locally for me, 250 for early, 400 for late if you're lucky. Glass does not interchange, as I found out unfortunately a few months ago. I can't speak to 968 glass but I doubt it would be cheaper than the late part anyway.
