Default I cannopt find this leak!! HELP!

hey guys,

Ive had this leak inside my s2 for ages now, ive tried juts about everything to find and fix it, but every tie i fix what i think it is, there is another leak. it is truley driving me nuts!

it is not the glass seperating from the hatch frame.

I am misisng the driver side cap to cover up the two allen bolts that hold the hatch on. it seems everytime the car sits for a certan amount of time in the rain, and then i start it up and on my first right hand turn i get a cup full of water pouring out of where the cap should be. i pulled the hatch off and siliconed the little peices of metal the the allen bolts go through because i thought it was leaking form there. apparently not because it leaked again today.

The weather stripping on the hatch doenst look like its perfect, could this be where it is leaking form?

To clarify, the water seems to be coming from underneath the headliner, and then puring out the little hatch bolt cover that is missing. it only does it once, right after sitting in the rain. while driving there are no leaks. ONLY WHEN SITTING IN THE RAIN!!

I also do NOT have a sunroof....

Thanks in advance!

At first glance, when you said 'I don't have a sunroof' I thought to myself, "There's your leak".

Check the integrity of the gasket on the hatch behind your head...if it's not broken, then I have no idea.

Windshield not sealed well, small cracks along the rain gutter...?

Non-sunroof car with the club sport wheels and that color... NICE! Hope you can find your leak.

A good body shop would probably re-weld and repaint it. You could run a bead of silicone to see if that stops it.

Drive it only on nice days and keep it covered. Sell it as a "garage queen" to someone else who will use it in similar fashion.

Have someone sit inside the car and run a small stream of water over specific parts of the roof/windshield/hatch. If it is getting into the headliner you have a pretty small surface area in which it has to be.
