Default who wants to trade up some wheels? SOLD!!!

ok ive been going back and forth with combos here lately and i cant decide what to do. I have the 18's on my car and i love them but i need something to run on the track. I have a set of cup2 17's w/ firestone SZ50's (215 fronts/255 rears) on them, very good tread left etc...but im not sure this is what i want to do my next DE on, not so much the tire but the size. ANyone have some decent sized 16" late offset wheels w/ track oriented or high performance tires that wants to trade. Please no skinny wheels i need traction. Thanks

oh and check out what i added tonite- welt strutbar!

Curious, why do you want late offset wheels if your car is an '86?

I have a set of 16x7 and 16x8 968 5-spokes with Falken 512's (about 3/4 tread left). 205 and 225 so you may want more rubber.

Or i also have a set of D90's 16x7 and 16x8 with 225 and 245's. Dunlop SP8000's. About 30% tread left.

Maybe we can work out a deal.

Those cups would work ok with 225/45-17 and 255/40-17, right?

But if you really want 16's with late offset (for a 1986?)......

I've got four 9"x16" OEM 993 wheels (70mm offset, so you might need a spacer?), also four 245/45-16 Hoosiers (which are a few years old).

I'll sell 'em or trade 'em.

I'm also in Cincinnati.

Well..... here's the story. I just bought a 993 C4 and wanted 16" wheels for snow tires. (It came with beat up 17" cups with snows, and perfect 18" Sport Designs with new tires, all of which I am going to sell).

After trying and failing several times to buy a set of 7&8 968 wheels, I bought TWO sets of 16" 993 wheels (which are 7's and 9's). I already have one set here at the house, and I bought a second set on ebay last week, that should arrive tomorrow. I want to keep the four 7's for my snows, and sell the 9's.

In theory I will have all the wheels tomorrow night, and will inspect them firsthand and put them on a balancer to make sure they are straight. I think all four have scratches on the rims.

After I'm sure they are all straight, I was going to put them on ebay with no reserve starting at $400, with a buy-it-now of $500. (Plus shipping).

Or I guess I'd sell them for $500 plus shipping without putting them on ebay. If you want to check my feedback, my ebay name is ConcoursArt (because I have a few thousand concours posters I am going to set up an ebay store for). http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAP...item=-1&de=off

How's that for a long answer to a short question?

I just confirmed with UPS tracking online that the second set of 993 wheels will be here this afternoon.

I think I have some kid stuff going on Saturday, but Sunday is probably open. Are you sure these will fit, or will we need to test-fit one?

You want to swap (I'll just resell your 17's), or buy?

Dan, you are going to need to do a test fit. You could be real close on the fronts.

yeah i think the 70mm offset and 9" all around kinda killed it. Maybe i'll just try these wheels on the track and see how it works out.

I've got four 16x7/8" 23.3 offset phonies with some good-shape dunlop sp8000s right here. As far as trading, I need late offsets for my car.

I have got 16X7 and 8's with 225 and 245 Fuzion ZRi's that grip pretty good. They are 70% or better.
