What kind of bumper is this???
Hey guys,
I've seen this bumper around on a few cars (only in pictures). It's totally different than the bumper on my 1984 Porsche 944. Is this some sort of Euro-Spec bumper?
If I can source one of these off the internet, will it bolt up RIGHT in place of the bumper in my 944? What kind of lights are those which are located right next to the turn signals? Are those "driving lights". In that particular Porsche, do they remain on ALL the time, or are they controlled by a switch?
Thanks!!!

That is a fiberglass Euro bumper. The lights beside the turn signals are driving lights (come on with the high beams). The bumper mounts with solid steel mounts. One is sort of flat and the one on the passenger side looks like a bumper shock but it has threads in it so when you remove the rubber pad you can screw a tow eye in it.
Here are pics of the mounts it uses:

That car looked great with those TurboS wheels on it. I miss it. Have you heard from the new owner much since he bought it? How long 'till you get it back again?
That car next to yours looks like a real junker.

Look around on eBay.UK and ask around to see who will ship state side. I had a euro rear bumper sent here and it cost about $140 for the shipping. Im working on trying to get one right now, need to hear back from the guy i bought the rear bumper from.
The euro front 944 bumper is a direct fit with the proper mounts as Albert said, the 924 euro bumper DOES NOT fit though.
