Default Mud flaps for the 944?

Anyone know if anyone makes mud flaps for the front fenders of the 944. I am thinking something like what was on the second generation Trans Ams, or what Mazda made for the second generation RX-7s.

There is some rust on the bottom of the front fenders of my S2, and I would like to cover it up.

Put some on ,y '87 a few years ago. Believe they came from performance products. The fit is good and they actually look like they belong on the car.

why not just fix the rust...covering it up wont make it go away. Rust never sleeps. Mudflaps are ugly.

Dan,
I want to clean up the area and put some self etching primer or equivalent on the area. the problem is some of the fender is already gone. I dont want to spend big $$ to fix this little problem. Once i "contain" the rust I want to cover the area, and a mud flap seems like the ticket.

Now I just have to find the coupon i got from performance not too long ago. thanks guys!

I have the same mud flaps on my 951 from performance products. The same manufacturer that supplied tweeks as they dont carry them anymore. I think they look great on my car as it closes in the wheel well space much better.

If someone can post a shot of the mud flap from the side so I can see how much of the rust it will cover I would appreciate it.

"Big bottom
Big bottom
Talk about mud flaps
My gal's got 'em.
Big bottom
Drive me out of my mind.
How can I leave this behind"

The word "mudflaps" has never been the same since I heard this song.

how much do you have to drive your 944 in the winter for it to rust...? i thought it was near impossible, and my 944 with 120k which i bought a 1.5 years ago has no rust on it and it lived its life in boston and new york.....

Just pointing out that the ones linked to above claim to not work for the S2/951.

Tom,

you'll have to remove the turbo skirts for the flaps to work....otherwise you'll have to dremel them and yes the flaps from paragon will cover all that up
