Default Rare paint for me! - Japanese only color?

so i just received some interesting information form my bodyshop where my s2 is getting some repairs done....

my s2 is the japanese version (i imported it from Japan about 1 year ago) it has all the ROW specs, except for one thing.... the color of the paint. Everyone has been trying to guess my color's name but no one could ever pin point it....

Apparently Japan had some rare Japanese only colors they used on their models, and i have one of them the bodyshop had to bring in some kind of special japanese paint expert because they couldn't figure it out, (or read japanese)... i'll try and get the code from the shop so i can share it with you guys.

i guess this is a good thing? lol

What's the paint code on the label in the trunk? It's a german car. They built it in germany. They used german paint no matter what the color. The chances you need a japanese expert are slim to nil.

Looks like the stock color Baltic Blue, to me. A Swiss friend of mine has an S2 in the same color.

Why would they need to read Japanese? The paint codes are alphanumeric and use Roman letters.
