Default Chinese VW Pull Handles Arrived

So the Chinese VW Pull handles I bought off ebay arrived today, and looks like they will fit perfect!

I just need to pop out the VW part (red) and pop in the 944 arm and they should be ready!

Should I paint them body color??

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...6713300&rd=1,1

I bought them on 12/26 and they arrived today slow, but still good!

Not bad for $24.99 shipped!

It's hard to tell from the pics but how will you convert them from a VW type horizontal pull (in/out) to a vertical pull (up/down) to activate the Porsche style release? They look great. Keep us up on the progress.

I wish I had a close up pic of a regular porsche handle and you would see.

The part I maked in red is removed and the porsche "arm" goes in its place. I will definitely take pics on this one.

I am thinking about having them engraved with "porsche"
that would be kick ***!

lol, I think it's hilarious how Porsche person buys VW door handle, while VW people buy Porsche handles (Porsche script). Some guy is selling a set for $500...So I'd say the Porsche people get the better end of the deal

Wow, since the Post Office lost the handles I bought from Sam, I wonder if these might be an option for me as well. Please let us know how you make out getting themn installed!!

Not to steal Jageng's thunder, but I suspected that as well. Kinda hard to see from the pic.

I would imagine there is someone on a Chinese VW enthusiast forum right now lamenting us Porsche guys for buying their parts and sticking them on our cars.

That's a great deal since the Jageng website is charging $75 or $85 each...

If you take any install pics, please post!

I love the pull action vs. our squeeze handles. Seems like a PItA to convert/change over...no?
