Mike- I'd LOVE to see this project rolling under it's own power.

I agree- run it at the fest.

I plan on being at the Niagara (PCA) and GVC (BMWCCA) events, @ WGI I'll be at Nelson's with Skip Wolfe in June, and at Nelson's with Fest (of course). I'll also be at Winged Warriors III with a group of WNY people in Indy on May 12th, and may bring the car with me to the USGP again. I dont have anything scheduled at Mid O yet, but wanna get there and Mosport also this year. I'll also be running a bunch of events at a small little place we rent out for next to in Canada (Dunnville Autodrome) and I know I'll be at Calobgie (Spelling is wayyy off) north of Toronto atleast once.

New pilot bearing and rear main seal.

Spec flywheel

There is a big relief. The head is just on there for the meet as I still need to send it out to get refreshed, but didnt want to put a rush on the guy who is doing the work for me. Have a bunch of stuff to button up tomorrow, bodywork, put the transaxle in, etc. But getting the block in is a huge step forward.

Mike, any reason you chose the Spec flywheel over the Fidanza? Is there even much of a difference between the two?

I have had good experiences with Spec (on my Stage III from the old turbo motor), and had read about some Fidanza units being not exactly balanced. Plus I was ordering stuff from Lindsey anyway and just tossed it on the end of one of my orders.

I have no idea, that's the kind of thing I take to a machine shop and say "Check and see if this is balanced, get back to me, and we'll go from there"

Oh, did I mention? I snagged it from your back yard.... lol I passed Ft. Monroe while picking it up. Would've let you know and grabbed a bite to eat but I was in a hurry, drove almost 2000 miles this weekend.

Thanks, yes, the Hellas are great at night. The 8V NA motor that is in the car has a refreshed head, JME Cam, ITB's, custom exhaust, 72# injectors (leftover) and Tec3R engine management.
