944 628 028 02 has 2 springs to hold the arm down and the blade on the glass at speed, the ones that came on mine only had 1 and these were a major improvement.

Paragon, Zims, Tweeks.

I paid $85 for the pair at Tweeks, Paragon has had them for $35 ea.

You are talking arms, not blades... correct?

I've got a set off my '88 951. I can get the part numbers and post a pic tomorrow if you want. They have blades on them, and I think I have a brand new set of blades still in a package.

I'll check it all out tomorrow and post back.

Would removing one spring make the wipers perfrom better (as in, no chattering)??

Well, removing one spring would result in less pressure of the wiper against the window, which I assume would create more chatter.

If you want to get rid of chattering, buy the wiper blades from the dealer. I will post pics tonight when I get home so you can see what they look like.

Mine chattered worse with the single spring arm... actually the key to that is good quality blades and clean glass.

I've read of some cleaning the windshield with Acetone.

I have the Porsche blades. Unless I use the medium fast speed, they chatter like crazy. I guess I need a new windshield!

Mine chattered until I replaced the plastic clip that holds the blade assembly to the arm. The plastic was worn and brittle so the blade fit loosely in the arm.
