Default Steering knuckle. MO3O or not?

I need to replace the front steering knuckle on my S2 race car. Is there a way to tell if it is a stock 951 or an M030 knuckle? Normally all Porsche parts have a full part number on them but I can't fine one on this part.

Thanks;

Don

What brake caliper Don, big or small? Small brakes has to be regular 951 spindle. Big brakes could be either, depending on whether you are using an adapter. no adaoter = m030, adapter = regular 951

Big brakes but I am not 100% sure if there is adapter or not. Is there an easy way to tell?

That was not originally an M030 car, and Im about sure that it was upgraded to the 928S4 calipers with adaptors, not the full M030 hubs and spindles.

But post a picture and we can tell you for sure.

if it is F-stock with big brakes it should not have adapters . . . at least not technically. that is what DA told me

a picture would be easy to tell from.

I absolutely agree, but I have yet to see an F-stock 944S2 w/ M030 calipers, using actual actual hubs and spindles - most are running caliper adapters....

This is a picture of an M030 spindle on my S2. As you can see the calipers attach via radial bolts as opposed to axial for normal calipers.
