Default Anyone want a 924 CGT wing?

I have a rear wing that is a replica of the 924 Carrera GT. It was made by AIR before Porsche sent cease and desist letters to them to get the script off. Therefore, this is a fiberglass replica that actually has the big PORSCHE script across the back of it. (pretty rare) It has a crack along the some bottom of it, but you can't really notice it when it is on the car.

Just in case anyone is steered away because of two deals (out of several dozen) gone bad in the past (which have been made right), I am willing to ship this out BEFORE it is paid for if you are an actively posting Rennlist Member. You can inspect it after it shows up and then send me a check/money order when you are satisfied.

I want to get what I have into it---- about $180. Shipping will be kind of pricey, it was about $40-$45 when I bought it. If interested, please email me instead of PMing me. (easier for me to respond) theodorew@tmo.blackberry.net

Here are pics of the actual spoiler:

. . and here is a picture of the same wing (not this actual one, though) on a rennlister's 944 turbo, so you can get an idea of what it will look like: (hopefully Winslow doesn't mind me borrowing his picture )

Thanks.

That'd work nicely on my Carrera GTS project... maybe once I've sold the 924S...

Yup-- I think I know the guy who picked it up, too. . . . was advertised as either a 924 or 944 (regular plain old factory) spoiler. . . LUCKY SOB!! That may have happened twice in eBay history-- by people that didn't know what they had. Too bad I am never around to get those type of steals. . .

I don't know what it was until a few months later. There is one on ebay right now for $90 but yours is much nicer.

Ted, will this work with the factory side trim parts? Are the mounting holes already drilled?

Yes,it uses the 2 stock trim pieces. It attaches with metal clips, and they all appear to be there.

Open beer, drink beer, take old rubber wing off, open beer, drink beer, bolt the new one on. Seriously, it JUST came off one of our cars, so it is ready to go back on one.

Chris, if you put this wing on your 924, it will actually turn your car into a 924 Carrera GT. I think you have to paint it yellow first, though---maybe someone can jump in and confirm this. . .
