Overstated by 25-30 hp! No way as that is 90% of the hp difference between the 944S and 944.

Something has to be wrong to put out numbers that low.

If it was one car that was low, then i would think their is a problem. But not when you see proof of other cars. I was as shocked as you were. Stock i was hoping for 160whp or so. But it just never happened. So I thought their was something wrong. I then did research and found out i got the top of the scale for these cars. So I wasn't as upset.

If you just do a search of this forum on 'NA dyno' you'll see many charts.

EDIT - found the dyno sheet and I'm 100% full of ****. Max on the dynojet was 135rwhp - three months later it threw a rod bearing, not sure if that means anything On this dyno run were brand new from Porsche, cams, valve job etc... so it was a tight head. Compression was also good.

Do all 944S owners run premium gas? If not you will loose HP on these cars.

Yes, I am currently working on 85.5-88NA and S2. I believe Dave Lindsey just found me a 2.7L to work with so I'll jump right into that as well. Next will be the 968, and a local 911 shop is going to line me up with a bunch of 911 variants to work with so those will be soon as well. Eventually, we will have chips for anything that has a Bosch Motronic unit in it.

Regards,
Russell

Sorry to drag this even further OT......but.........unless his car is a euro (I don't think it is based on the cars in his sig, but he has no location under his name), that figure is high. US-spec cars were about 20hp lower.

I pulled that number from the Porsche spec page here:
