944 Stripes / Wild or mild paint scheme
Don't want to start a flame fest here....
But light em if you got em....
I was wondering if y'all could either send me or post pictures of some one off 944
paint schemes. I was thinking stripes but I am not sure now.
After doing some searching (without too much luck) I found some pretty cool looking cup cars here on rennlist.
Right now the car is brown and I have thought about the new GM Copper on their little Chevy HHR? Or stripes.. I can't decide...
Just want to see something different.
I have Sunshine Gold (71 olds color) Bright Silver (2000 Chrysler 300m color) and just purchased a gallon of 2007 Charger/challenger red (can't remember the exact name but it was SHINEY LOL). I have a gallon of each and of course grey and black primers.
If I don't use any of these colors they are just going to waste away on my shelf.
But if you have a hot paint scheme idea let me know.

for a street car keep it stock looking. no stripes.
For a track car (80% track) or race car go hog wild.
I would NEVER put the white band on my race car on a street car. On a race car I want it to stand out in a potential sea of similar red 944's. In fact it can a tactical advantge to have disctinctive car as when you appear in slower cars review mirror they tend to pull over much easier if they know "Which" red 944 is behind them.

If I could get pics from the Mexican who bought my 86 944, I would post them. "I'm gonna get a black paint job, real glossy. Them imma put 2 red stripes down the middle."

I think that the 968 Spolier is so much more Porsche than the black rubber thing on the back. When it is time to paint I think I am going with the 968 rear spolier & the 931 front nose pannel!
I saw this black Boxter (Stock) at the Porsche Dealership with like black metal flake in it. I believe that is what I want to go with my self.
Keine Streifen, Aaron sagt nein zu pimp'n aus dem Porsche!
