harnesses on redline roll bar...
how does one secure them? I STUDIED the harness install manual and it didnt help.
because the redline doesnt have brackets (shown below) what is recommended to keep them from sliding? I thougt maybe use roll bar padding but dont think its a good solution.

Unless you are criss-crossing the belts (as shown in your second pic) the belts shouldn't slide on the bar at all. Since belt tension is straight from the bar to the seat holes, the belts will naturally stay right where they are.
Just make sure the clip is as close to the bar as possible while still allowing the belts to rotate on the bar, and triple loop the belts through the clips.
I've seen many examples of roll bars/cages without belt guides.

heres where I get flamed....
I am using stock seats WITH the g-force H-type 5pt harness (when I order it..)
no HANS or anything else.
should look like this but with h-type harness and redline roll bar.
so the seat holes option wont work...
should I just wrap them around like the manual says, and hope they wont slide?

IMHO. You need to loose the stock seats with the harness. Without the seat holes the belts will not be positioned properly over your shoulder (worse and wrong if using a Hans) and without the antisub hole resulting in excessive compressive and torsional (loose shoulders) forces in the event of stuffing it somewhere.

as much as I want aftermarker ones, I cannot afford them. if my 2 spare seats sell, then I will get one. Until they do, I am going to be using the stock seats.

H-type makes it ok, so long as the cross "H" is in FRONT of the seat behind your neck, this keeps the shoulder straps on your shoulders and not sliding to the side.
I have this rig now and will be able to drop it when I get some seats... the best solution of course.

If your doing a track event, you should check what the group will allow. I am not sure that all groups allow H type. Will the belts tight..they will not slide across the bar.

In our region, the requirement has been to have something that effectively locates the shoulder belts when used in combination with the stock seat. H-style harnesses have been approved for that use in DE. I think you'll be okay there.
Now, I did have this trick little device I bought from a place out west (still searching for the name). It's a piece of webbing that mounts on the stock seat and provides harness guides on either side. I'll see if I can dig it up.
By the way, John at Redline Rennsport is a really good source of "how to" info when it comes to this. He's been fairly immersed in it for a while.

Sorry, should have been more clear. With you in the car, and the belts tightened around you..the belts will not move side to side...too much tension.
