used koni yellows, how to make use of them?
I have some used koni yellow front shocks, how can I make use of them?
It seems to me that getting them re-done is the same price as buying new ones, so why do so many people get them re-done?
Is it just to recycle and save the earth?

I wish! Their starting rate for rebuilding is $140 each and it goes up from there. The $140 is just labor, then you figure in seals and everything else and you could easily end up around $400.
I had mine rebuilt because they are MO30 struts, otherwise I would have bought some new cartridges and gone to town.

If you want a custom valving they would be good, since they'd need to be rebuilt anyway. Koni warranties their shocks for life to the original owner as far as I know. But yea, if you aren't the original owner or don't need custom valving then they're a bit worthless. Maybe a racer that needs custom valving would buy them.
