Default Design 90 Rims (are they going to fit)

Hey guys,

In answer of an urgent question.

I have these rims on offer, they are the Design 90 rims that originally came out on the 944 S2 and the 944 turbo S would they fit to a 85.5 944 NA.

The rims are 8Jx16ET with a 52.3 offset.

Fronts 7 1/2 inch rim with 205/50 R/16 tyres

Rears 8 1/2 inch rim with 225/50 R/16 tyres

Would this be a straight fit, otherwise what would the spacers I need.

The early offset is 23.3mm I think. You will have to use spacers to make up the difference.

The D-90's that came on the 944S2 and 951's were 7 inch front, 8-inch rear, AFAIK. At least here in the US.

But as stated above - they will fit, as long as you use spacers.

I have those on my 85.5. I use 1 1/2" spacers all around.

Same here but you have to get the front ones machined to fit over the extended hub and wheel bearing cap.
