euro plates on a 944 NA?

Default euro plates on a 944 NA?

i was just wondering if a european style plate would fit between the front bumper pads of my '89 944 na. Thanks!

probibly fit, but wont that be illegal in the states?

probably just as illegal as not having one at all in the front like i do now.
BTW: in some states front plates are not required ie.michigan

Your lucky your not in CA, or you would have gotten ticketed already.

A euro plate probably won't fit between the bumper pads, considering the us plate doesn't have much room to spare.

in ohio i haven't heard of anyone getting pulled over for just that. i have passed many cops that are radaring me that don't pull me over for it. AND, if they do i always keep the plate in the hatch to show them. I still am unclear whether or not it will fit because i really wanted to put one there, yet i think that it would definetly be a tight fit. Does anyone have the dimensions for a euro plate?

the cops in my town havent said a word to me about not having a front plate.(they hate me so im shocked that they dont say something) id put it on there except i dont have anthing to mout the license plate to. i was also wondering this. i was gonna put a euro plate that just said "Porsche" on there.
come to think about it im not sure where the other plate is.....maybe its in the cubby in the cargo area???

i live in cali and i have never had a prob with not having a front plate. just luckey i guess

my Europlate is 520mm.........I have the plate on the front of my car and havent had a problem here in Cali yet..........

520mm, that is huge! I just measured it out with a meter stick and NO WAY would it fit. it seems that it would cover about 1/4 of each bumper pad.

zehnd, could you possably show some more pics? it looks alot cleaner than i had expected. what did you place in between the plate and the painted section of your bumper?
