Default DC area guys i need a hand

ok, i have been thinking and with everything going on at the moment i really need a LOT of help getting my parts car stripped and my race car running. I want to schedule weekend work days, but even then i dont think there is enough time in one day to get everything done that i want. SO, I'm asking for ANY free time you all have, if i could barrow that. Nothing would be to technical at all, but some of it will be labor intensive.

So here is the deal I'll trade, beer/food, my soul (almost anything) for any minute you could come over and help with the cars. I'm usually free in the late afternoons (after work) and weekends. I live in fairfax near manassas and should have about every tool needed.

PM me if you have some time and want to help out! I think this (29th) saturday I'm going to devote to the 944's as well

Ross,
I've stripped a few 944's in my day and could probably help you out this weekend. PM me details.

I'll keep this thread updated. I'll need all the help i can get as the engine has to come out. If the tranny has an lsd, that comes out as well. There is a lot of stuff to do.

thanks

i wish i could be of help too. iam picking up my 914 in Centreville on Sat. however ,i don't think Mrs 944 would be happy sitting watching me get dirty.

I may be able to lend a hand if i can get out of the house for a bit.

There are quite a few 944/928 owners in the area. Another good place to post is on www.dorkiphus.com for local owners.

Good luck if I don't get a chance to see ya.

Ross,

I might have some time on Sunday. I am a new 951 owner. Love to see how it all comes apart. Do you pull all this stuff out on jack stands or do you use a lift.

Thanks guys!!!

I'm a 100% stands "shop" and 80% outside as well, lol.

I'll actually be at the track most of sunday (with the not so working race 944) so sunday is out.

and anyone is more than welcome to stop bye, have a beer or water and just hang out.
