1983 944 value?
Well, what does a very nice original 944 go for?
I bet I have $25K wrapped up in mine, and this morning, it would not start.
Started and drove great last Sunday.
I was thinking $3500.00 - is that unrealistic?
Oh, I had to ride the motorcycle to work, in the rain.
Not happening again . . . . .
I hope
Hate to let that car go, but you know, might be time to cut my losses.
Any idea's on values?
Scott - If you are in any way interested, or anyone else, email me at honda919rider@yahoo.com
Hate ot let it go, I have way too much wrapped up in it, the body is almsot perfect and, well, new clutch, new this that and the other thing - you know how 944's can be . . .
It's a sad day . . . .
Maybe the wife will talk me out of it!

why won't it start? shouldnt be too hard to troubleshoot. Does the tach bounce when it cranks? Does it crank? Why would you stop now, The car oughtta be good for another 23 years by the sounds of it.

125,000 miles on the original odometer, I put a new one in when I finished my last interior restoration so now it shows 6,000 I think.
All stock - late 82 but a 83 version. Sport suspension, sunroof, 16" Fuch, I have all the codes in the file foilder of all the reciepts of all the work . . . .
Why, why now?
Well, my career of 25 years came to an end so my disposable income is gone. My new job does not allow me to be able to afford these toys anymore, my God, I have dumped a ton of time and money into the car, really hate to let it go, but you know, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.
My wife loves the car, dropping this on her tonight. My kids like it as well, but you know what, I need something reliable and the 944 just proved to me it is not going to be.
Riding the motorcycle in the rain to work, I decided it is time for some life changes, I am too old for this.
Sad . . . . .
Maybe the sun will come out and a nice little pink cloud will appear . . .
I'll post pic's tonight.

There is a guy named Scott in the Kansas City area that gets rights to first refusal - trying to get a hold of him now.
Manuals, tools, etc will all be sold seperately and are not included with the car.
Unless someone makes me a crazy offer, that is . . .
