I'll be there instructing. Doesn't look like I'll have the racecar done so I'll have the '87. I have a bunch of photos of some past events, although many of them are in film/slide format. I'll see if I can get the scanned an uploaded to give everyone a preview.

I had to bail on my plan to unveil the MID-sleeved, big-bored, megasquirted 951, so I be the guy in the red non-turbo wearing street tires that everyone is lapping in the advanced 'gruppe'. But not to worry, I've been working out the point-by arm in the gym, it should be 100% ready to go next month.

I popped my track cherry at NL back in 2002 or so...



I bet I'll actually turn faster laps in the NA than I would've in the 951 since I'm more familiar with it and know its (lower) limits a lot better. But I still have to hoist the engine back up into place in the next two weeks and get this puppy tech inspected! I just got through a bear of a clutch job on my E36, but I guess I'll be spending a few more long nights in the garage. Worth it? No question.

Oh yeah, I'll be bringing my nifty Canon S2 IS, hopefully with a ~1.7x teleconvertor by then (for 20.4 optical zoom). So we should all get some decent (and free) high-res track photos. And I'll have one of those cheapo CVS digicamcorders for incar (or bumper mount) videos.

Great Idea for a thread! I think most of you know what Glacier Girl looks like, but I'll throw a pic out with her track wheels on..

(PS.. I have a spare set of Club Sports with last years' Toyos RA1s mounted on them, they are stained but excellent track rims. The tires probably have two weekends left in them. I'll deliver them to the Fest, any takers at $800?)

Hmmm... $800 for forged club sports? Gawd, I am tempted, altho getting them home afterwards will be a major challenge. I'll be in the Gen'l Sherman (sorry, can't post a pic at the moment) with the Dixie Flag sunroof insert, assuming I don't break anything next Weds at the next track session.
