please check my parts list...timing belt
I am about to do my '51's t-belt for the first time on my own. I am also doing the crank seal which is getting leaky. All other seals and rollers were done by my old wrench 30K ago, and look dry. The water pump will also be done. Please make sure I am not omitting anything:
Arnworx tool set with Kricket:
I will experiment with the Kricket, but if unsure I will prolly just suck it up and get a 9201, been warming the wifey up for that....
Paragon:
conti cam and balance belts
crank seal
oil pump drive sleeve
O-ring for above sleeve
alt/PS belts
Rebuilt water pump with gasket and t'stat kit
I have a gear puller for the crank and 15/16" deep socket
Can you guys think of anything else so I can get it all with one shipment??
THANKS!!!!!

You might consider new rollers and cam seals if you are going that far anyway. Personally I thought the Kriket is a joke. I'll stick with the twist rule after trying to get it to work consistently

with your car being an '88 you will have to use the 9201 tool as the Kricket will not work because of teh spring tensioner. Although the spring tensioner comes close to settign the tensioner I would still check it with the 9201 tool. List looks complete although i would change all sels while your in there anyways, because trust me you don't want to go back in there.

Just a tip, you do not need to pull the crank pulley to get the timing belt on. You can snake it around the pulley no problem. Just cut the old belt in half when you are ready to remove it and pull it out.

oh yeah on more thing make sure the belt is the right size for the pump i.e thick belt or thin belt. Yours being an 88 951 it should be the thicker belt I believe.
