I'm looking for a 944 fuel pump, anyone have one for sale?
This is for a parts car I picked up recently. The fp is shot but it started on starting fluid. I'd like to make it run before I pull the motor so I can assess it's condition.

It doesn't sound like your fuel pump is bad or the engine would not run at all. Could be your check valve or the DME relay. Discribe your problem and the list should be able to tell you what is wrong.

The problem is the fuel pump doesn't run. Even when wired directly to 12v. I took a jumper pack and hit it with +12 then -12 then +12 again and again. I've actually freed up a couple of stuck pumps this way. Not this one, it's stuck good.
As I stated above, the engine started when I gave it a good shot of starter fluid.

Got it, try Paragon-products.com, pelican parts, zims porsche parts, or vertex for a new pump. Make sure you buy a new check valve if it doesn't come with one (attaches to the pump) this is one of the reasons the pumps fail and they get very corroded.
