I have 8, D90 8 x 16 and 2, 7 x 16 " wheels. They are all marked with Porsche part numbers and OEM stamps. One set of 7 & 8 inch do not have any markings around the valve stems for width and dia and all the rest do. I was surprised to see this.
Do your D90 wheels have these markings? Just curiours.

I have 2 sets of D90's. One set is original to my 89 S2, 7" and 8" pairs. They DO NOT have the markings on the valve stems. The other set I picked up at a local swap. They have a 964 part number 6" and 8" pairs. They DO have the markings at the valve stems.
I also was surprised when I noticed the difference.

I echo what AZS2 has.. i have two sets of D90's. The set from a 964 is 16x6 and 16x8, both have the markings by the valve stem.. also have a set from a S2 which are 16x7 and 16x8, no markings on either one.. though the rear 16x8's have the same 964 part # i think.

Markings for the others will be inside the spoke.

Thanks for the observances.
I guess there may be more than one manufacturere for these wheels with 2 different sets of tooling. The 8 X 16's have a 964 part number. Found it very strange myself.
