Sounds like the guy is painting the car for next to nothing. Unless its gonna be a real doozer of a paint job, sounds like hes getting a good deal no matter what. I got several quotes to repaint my 944 and $5000 got me in the door and not much else.

Isnt it Hoffman912 who had a prior owner repaint his 912 about 10-15yrs ago and it was $9000 back then.

Well.. the paint job would NOT be a complete tear down.
But a lot of the paint is still fine.
He quoted me 2200 for the repairs.. minus 1600 for not replacing the front valance.

Leaves $600. So $2500-ish paint job.

fender is 580 something brand new from porsche.
