The dyno would have to be Friday, we have other plans for a tour Saturday away from the track.
Remeber, if you ask for dyno time you are pledging $100 toward the cause. the dyno cost is $1000 for the day, and the per share price will decrease if more folks want to strap it on. I'll need to review this thread and see how many requests we have.

Well depending on what happens this summer with my firm, I might still be coming. Travis knows all the details. So the infamous Gator_86_951 might be showing up. LOL

OK, I've got 7 dyno interests. That is getting pretty close. Just a couple more and I'll make it happen.

Maybe we could book him for noon til 8pm, or something like that. There are several folks who don't want to track but do want to dyno, so they could go first. Later after the track is done we could do the cars with sticky tires.

A definate "maybe" is not going to count toward dyno players. You see, when I get ten firm yesses (?) I'll order it up, and those ten folks are on the hook for $100 or whatever their share turns out to be. (probably more like $70) I would like to have it there for sure. I love the scream of a car near redline, under load just a few feet away from me.

Dan if you could schedule it that way, I would be in. I would hate to miss out on any track time. I'm sure we could get at least 10 people. How many people will be there on Friday?

how many dyno pulls would we get? i know when i paid $70 at a dyno shop they gave me 3 pulls. but my guess that time wouldn't allow for that. so how would we divvy it up?

IF we get a dyno, three pulls is no problem at all. The time consumed strapping down to the rack and setting up is the time consuming part. Once you are buckled in making a few pulls takes just a couple of minutes longer than just one. There isn't a lot of reason for it, unless you want to change different DMEs or boost levels, etc. Those folks with mafterburners, etc with the wide range of tuning options can spend hours trying different stuff. The average car to do 3 pulls takes about :30 minutes to load, pull, and unload. If we have 8 hours of good weather with no problems, we could get 16 cars thru the rack. 1/16th of $1000 would be the cost per. It all depends.
