Default 1984 Yellow car for sale for $1000 obo

Ok im not going to part the yellow car out anymore, Im gonna fix the wheel bearing problem and then sell it.

The car is a 1984 with a turbo front end. The timing belt was done a year ago, but is coming up on 30,000 miles in about 2000 miles. The motor is nice and strong, but has a slight oil leak in the front. The power steering works also but leaks. The car now has a black 951 nose panel.

I dont have any interior pics, but ill take them tomorrow.

(those wheels are REALLY shiny, theyre just really dirty in that picture. Theyre done using car paint, not spraypaint.)

and you even get to keep the 944 euro plate on the front

CAr is 1000 dollars

yeah starts and the engine runs. Right now its up on jack stands because it needs new wheel bearings in the front which will be fixed as soon as i get the part. It just took a journey from cincinnati ohio to VA a month ago.

itsa a 5 speed. Black interior

120,000 miles

it has a bunch of minor problems, like some leaks, the stereos faceplate is starting to break.

the whole rear suspension was taken out and replaced with a 1986 rear suspension with around 80,000 miles on it. It has a straight pipe on it too. Last compression check we did the numbers were all around 145 psi on each cylinder.

When I bought this car, there was NO interior in it, and it has 2 huge rust holes that have since been welded up and repaired. It also has a FULL black interior. Black carpet looks good, the rear seats are fine. The drivers seat is out of a later car and is torn, but the passenger seat is good. Has a dash cover on it. Its a black car that was resprayed yellow.

Overall I loved this car, and would like to keep it, unfortuneatly though I live with my sister and I have to follow her rules or im gone. She said either 1 of the cars go, or I go. This car turned heads though. Ive beeen complemented in it many times and a lot of my friends just loved the color.

Yeah! It will drive for sure! Like I said, it just cruised over from Cincinnati to VA without a problem. Im waiting on a part from Todd to finish the wheel bearings. i think im going to do the drivers side wheel bearing as well just to be safe.

The timing belt was done last august at 99k miles so you should be good.

Side note, whoever buys this car I have some extra stuff in the garage that you can have with it.

-a 1986 944 DME and air flow meter (swap these both in and the car will run with these. The advantage is the 1986 DME can support a drop in chip, where as the early DME cannot. Ive run this setup in the car before.

- a six blade radiator fan

- 1 sunvisor (maybe 2, havent looked)

- a 24mm frony swaybar

- theres like 1 headlight for some reason

- a brand new S or S2 timing belt

- and a bunch of other misc stuff that i dont need (interior parts mostly)

There is also a weltmeister harness bar and blue harness in the car. Ill get pics of that tomorrow

A couple things I need to add

This car MAY have heavier springs or something up front. I never looked into it, but when you press down on the front end, it is just as stiff as my 951 with koni yellows up front. Like I said, i dont know for sure, but ive owned 2 N/as and the first N/a was no where near as stiff in the front as this one.

And it also has some aftermarket steering wheel. I dont know what it is, or how much its worth but its VERY solid and has the word "Dino" inscribed in curive on it.

Here is a pic of the interior. This was before it was all stripped down and thrown away. I have since put a new interior in (no sound deadning though, and a black 924S center console vs the silver early 944 center console). But you can see the steering wheel in that picture.

There is easily over $1k in easy to sell parts on that car. Seats, aftermarket steering wheel, wheels, turbo front end/fog lights, and DME. If you were local, I would pay you $1k for it in a heartbeat.
