Hows the auction type thing going to work, how long will it last, what are the increase increments?

Still increadibly interested, still trying to sell parents on the fact that this is a great deal and that i will pay part of the insurance (unfortunatly they know that routine already)

Thanks again

Provided it is running condition for a 1000 mile trip, I am all for it. Let me know how this auction thing works. Are you putting it up on ebay? Just to rennlist?

Ill start another thread once the car is fixed up and ready to go. Ill post the price at 1000 and whoever is in say "im in" or something. Then i guess ill just go up in like 50 or 100 dollar increments and see who still wants it.

The only thing on the car that I dont think will survive a 1000 mile trip are the rear tires. The front ones are like new however. The rear tires are worn on the insides and are rather bald on the inside. However, you do get to the spare tire as well so you should be fine.

As far as convincing the parents about insurance, Im sure you can do that. It wasnt expensive at all. I was on my moms plan when I bought this and we had 7 cars on the plan (2 of them were 944's) and it ended up costing me around 300 dollars for 6 months of insurance, and that was apparently higher because we had 7 cars!

Ah, I'll pass then. I was gonna pick it up at 1K, but anymore (still a good deal) I'd rather have a new bike. (Hello CBR600)

Thanks for the info, any chance you got a local tire shop that could mount new tires if i brought them along with me? Im guessing this is a yes, but you never know

Thanks again man

Understandable, stuff changes so quickly, that when the car is fixed I might not even have a buyer and it might just go for 1000 flat anyway lol.

Anyway, Id like a bike sometime but ive got to get my cars settled first.

If you're interested in my wheels, I might be able to work something out for your car and turbo wheels. Lemme know.

I dont want to speak for Rock as it is his car, but I believe the car is nearing sale. Just hammering out the final details.
