Default look at what i did this weekend

of course more pics will follow later on tomorrow but i snapped a couple pics when i bought the motor home from my cousins shop. I ended up pulling my motor because i believe the ring is bad on the #4 cylinder so i will find out soon enough what the damage is. I ended up pulling the motor from the top with all u see in tact which made it easier then dropping all the suspension on the bottom. The car going to be getting repainted while i am rebuilding and modding my motor more

Did you have any trouble getting it out the top with the alternator on? I always have to remove the alternator to take it out the top. Whenever I try and leave it on, it catches on the hood latch or metal around the radiator.

the only thing that was really tight with the hood latch was the main pulley in the front

2 questions: Is it necessary to pull intake manifold? And did you have to drop crossmember to get pan up and over it to pull engine out of tt?

pretty sure once the engine mounts are disconnected you can lift the engine/torque tube up enough that you will clear the pan- still like going out the bottom though.
