The outside mirrors swivle back and fourth. I forgot but if you push the mirror to the front of the car a little allen screw will appear. If you tight that the loose mirror issue will be fixed if not.

Buy another 944 but this time buy a 951!

Peace, love, and Mag wheels!

Great guys. AFTER reading this the procedure now makes sence. I was working on fixing my mirror this past weekend and didn't understand. Now it is all crystal clear..

Now, what happened to me was my mirror broke the mounting point at the base leaving the bolt and a piece of the base on the door. If I turn/spin the bolt things giggle inside the door just behind the mounting point on the door. I can stick my finger in one of the holes on the door skin and feel that they are on the bottom of the screw/bolt. What are these things? PET is not very clear on this.

Here is the thread from this weekend.

worked Great. Vaughn's method was SPOT on. (aside from the different way to remove the mirror glass)

you guys made it seem like it was gonna be a HUGE pain in the ***... the worst part was the wiring. the rest was cake covered in easiness..

Glad to hear it - I was worried this place was going the way of the Pelican boards! j/k

Hey, gotta stand up for my 924 peeps!

Now I gotta learn about that crazy mirror glass ring thing, now that I have one of those "late" cars...

PS - sometimes, I actually sound like I know what I'm talking about!
