Dan, looks good. Are you doing an A/C delete? How is the clutch?

a-arms, well no but i did put 968 castor blocks on there. A/C delete- no again, mine works great! The front bar was spray painted along time ago and still looks ok, needs new bushings from my old oil leaks.

Well we got the car all together and running tonite and cranked it over and she fired right up! Also spit alot of oil on the floor since i think either my OPR or my oil filter is messed up so tomorrow after i kitty litter the garage floor, ill be installing a different filter and OPR, bleed out the power steering and coolant and she'll be ready to go! Sorry no pics too busy working but i'll get some on the first drive tomorrow.

I was thinking, that took like 20-25 hours in 4 evenings, not bad at all to build and install the motor including BSing and dinner a couple of those nights.

ok so the cure for the oil leak was not what we expected, not really what anyone would expect. Seems that an over abundance of assembly lube coupled with the low temps the last few nights made the oil ports of the bottom end impossible for the oil to pass through, so the oil took the shorter route-out the oil filter gasket. After about five oil filters later, a couple dozen quarts of oil and three oil sending units, two OPRV's and a solid box of shop rags we got it all cleared out. We had to pull the spring from the OPRV and run it to clear out the crap w/o over presssurizing the filter, then reinstalled everything and wala!!!! I wouldnt believe it if i werent there but at least its done. Put my new brake pads on, put on the 18's and so misc bolts and drove it for the first time in almost three months tonite. Then drove it home.....man how tempting is it to punch the trottle in this thing!! Ill behave, until next time, Dan.

Good luck with it! Makes me want to take my S2 out and eat up some twistys. Too bad it's sitting in storage till spring. I miss driving that car so much...
