ny didnt lease for a few years until a few months ago. i think the payment would have been about $100 a month if it was a true lease instead of a smartbuy and the $3000 gm card rebate was applied when i picked up the car.

gm card gave $5000 towards the car for the last two weeks of december last year. when i picked up the car it was $2000 but the next day it was $5000. the person on the phone at GM card said i was entitled to teh $3000 and someone from the executive office was on the call with me so the executive office held GM card to what they said. thats how i got the check for $3000. if not i could have let someone else use the $3000 towards a GTO and there were people that wanted it and wanted to ease my uncomfort if i wasnt going to get the $ from the GM card.

Now with a deal like that....How come the GTO is STILL not available here in Canada! You can only get the crappy Grand Prix or G6 with the "Oprah" package. LOL

A friend of mine said he test drove a GTO quite a while ago at a local dealer. Are you sure they're not available up here?

I'm pretty sure. I haven't seen a single one on the road. If you remember, the SRT4 didn't show up here untill 2 years after Chrysler started procuding them.
The Grad Prix sort of looks like a GTO, maybe that's what he drove.

Nope... still not in my name yet. It's staying in NJ until I finish the rebuild. My grandmother has a bigger garage than anyone else in my family, so I'll have room to repaint it. Plus, my grandfather was a master machinist before he passed away, so I have every tool imaginable, even tools he made himself.
