1974 toyota FJ40.....or a 1971 international scout, depends on how cold it gets (the FJ40 has a soft top and soft doors, gets kinda chilly when it drops below freezing)

Looks like mine....but I paid a lot more than $100!!! 1996 w/ 110K on it now. Only problem is the drivers door-lock mechanism only locks and doesn't unlock....so I have to unlock from the trunk. What a PITA!

You guys ready? 92 Pontiac Transport with 366K miles, messed up body, broken oil pressure, gas, volt, and no reverse.

Reversing that big POS with my feet is a huge pain in the ***. I'm trying to get some money together to fix my 92 Accord so I'm driving something smaller!!

ah hahahahahahahahahahaha...

I had picked up a 1993 Subaru Impreza 1.8 FWD that I wanted to convert to 2.5RS AWD motivation before the snow rolled it. Some bee with an itch pulled out in front of me 20 days later and it was written off. I wanted to buy it back, but no longer had the time to do the swap. Now I have a rice burner 1990 Acura Integra LS 3-dr for daily driving/winter beater duties until I can get the 924S project started and finished. Oddly enough, I'm taking the bus more since I pulled out the interior of the Integra to clean out the 10 lbs of salt.

My new parts carrier/tow rig (for when I buy another P-Car). Purchased for 1500 and it runs like a champ.

Win-ter?

Oh, that time where not having functional A/C isn't bad.

I thought every Subarus was AWD even the Justy. Did you actually check to see if it was just a 2wd?

well this was going to be it but i was aftraid the car would get rust due to 2 inch layer of salty sludge that usually covers jersey roads during winter. So i spared it and found this for a 1000 beans

97 GST, turbo equipped
Needs a few new suspension bits in the rear and insurance is cheaper than my 84 GTI. Car was in a very minor accident, i still cannot believe that PO wanted only $1k, car even has a clean title. Will be sold in the spring.

I'll be putting my old Cutlass through its last season, next spring I'm selling it in the hopes of getting an A4 or Jetta. Its a 93' Cutlass with the 3.4DOHC. Its my "early 20's old woman mid life crisis for a young male-mobile". Actually I'd always wanted one, and when I found one that was tripple white with the 3.4 and a 5 speed, how could I say no?

The early Imprezas had AWD as an option, then in (enter magical year here) they switched to all-trim level across all models being AWD. I spent the entire Labour Day weekend under the car sizing up crossmember mounting points to do the swap and cleaning it up only to have it totalled 3 days later.

Don't be mistaken my friend. The Justy was 4WD....and a 4sp 3 cylinder. What a ride!!!

out of pocket $80 for new tags. 36 month 36k miles, 35 payments of 284.71 and two months after i bought it GMAC sent me a check for $3,000. included in the payment is sales tax on the residual so if instead of turning it back i "trade it in" i get a credit for sales tax on $186XX of the next purchase.

ny didnt lease for a few years until a few months ago. i think the payment would have been about $100 a month if it was a true lease instead of a smartbuy and the $3000 gm card rebate was applied when i picked up the car.

gm card gave $5000 towards the car for the last two weeks of december last year. when i picked up the car it was $2000 but the next day it was $5000. the person on the phone at GM card said i was entitled to teh $3000 and someone from the executive office was on the call with me so the executive office held GM card to what they said. thats how i got the check for $3000. if not i could have let someone else use the $3000 towards a GTO and there were people that wanted it and wanted to ease my uncomfort if i wasnt going to get the $ from the GM card.
