Default I think I had piston valve contact.

All 4 pistons have 4 valve marks.
This happened at idle.

So how do you remove the valves and springs?

What parts do you want?

I sold the intake cam. The head is messed up on the intake side. The pistons don't look so good either.

no, those are factory markings to prevent contact. see my collection of rebuild photos for clean pistons. there is no piston damage that i can see. why do you think there was contact?

Stripped belt, no compression.

So what is the trick to removing the valves?

EDIT - in that case you may have damaged valves. need to pull the head and/or teardown the engine to find out.

to pull valves you need a valve spring compressor. my mechanic pulled my valves after i removed the head, but peterjcb recently built his own valve spring compressor
