Those aren't the magnesium wheels- look like they might be 9" standard wheels both front and back?

Probably stock alum 8's front and rear.

Couple other things I came across:

- One of the '86 US Cup/Escorts for sale - I think this ad was from last fall. Car was located around Columbus OH.

- Pics of the Rick Hurst 87TC (VIN #4) at the Brainerd 6 hr Escort race. Rained during the race and wrecked the film. Looks like the pics are 100 yrs old.

- Also, found that the two 87 Cups that went to Canada (VIN #s 6 & 7) did race in the 24hr Mosport Escort Race that year. They were Rothman's sponsored #60 and 61, driven by Scott Goodyear, Bill Adam, Rick Bye, David Deacon(GM of Porsche/VW CA and founder of the Canadian Rothmans series), and Richard Spenard. These two Cups were apparently being tried out for use in the upcoming Rothmans Canadian Turbo Cup Series, starting the following year.

What do you think those are worth Paul. I would think they would still need to be serviced with new seals, fluid, etc. Worth being bid price for unseen items.

I can honestly say that I have not the slightest idea what they are worth!

They are worth a lot more to the PCA/SCCA racer who needs to have the Porsche part number stamped for them to be legal.

Default Matter Rollcage

I am cleaning up the interior on my 1987 944S Club Sport that came equipped with a matter roll cage from the factory. As you know, the car is one of four that was delivered to the US from Porsche Motorsports in 1987 & 1988 and was raced in the Escort series. It is rough in places. I have redone all of the mechanicals and cleaned up the body this past year. I am focusing on the interior which is original. I am taking the cage out and restoring it. The carpet has pulled away and when I re-install the cage I want to get it right. Can you send me a picture of the mounting points of the cage in the foot well and next to the rear seats? Here is what mine looks like.
