Talking OT: Got some great news today!!!

My wife was born with a heart condition called VSD. During a regular yearly visit to her cardiologist 3 weeks ago....he said that her pressure in her heart was elevated and they were going to need to do heart surgery to repair the hole. Well...this morning she went in for a procedure called a heart cath to check the pressures again (more accurate). So to make a long story short...the doctor came into the consultation room after the procedure and said everything is normal and she will probably never need to have open heart surgery to repair the VSD!!!

Talk about great news...we are so relieved after 3 weeks of freaking out!

Praises to the Lord!!!!!!!!!

Jason

God bless to you and your family. I will pray for her and a speedy recovery. It is amazing when someone goes through trials in his/her life that materialistic items are so trivial.

One of my buddies had the same procedure done to his 3 year old daughter a few years ago. He had to relocate back up to Northern NJ due to a better selections of surgeons who were more experienced with this procedure. This summer his wife gave birth to their 3rd girl with the same issue. We pray for them every chance we get.

Again best to you and your family.

That's great news!

When I saw the topic of the thread, I thought you were going to tell us that you saved a ton of money on your car insurance by switching to Geico.

But you made up for it!

Ventricular spetal defects are commonly found too late, and often lead to many other issues...
Congratulations on not having to go any further. Some good cardiac rehab and she should be excellent.
