Default New here

Hi, I am Mike Markotas mom and I just decided to join in here after seeing how happy he was with the site. I have owned my 944 for 10 years and love it. Unfourtantly, my daughter backed into in and now I am finally going to get it fixed!

I'll become a paying member soon!

Hope to see more of the message board soon.

Mladenka

PS: I have already met one 'lister (Ted Wright) and hope to meet more!

Welcome to the site!!! By the way it is an unwritten that you post your yr/make and model until you get your signature squared away.

Yeah, it helps to post your model and year especially if you post asking for help, good point michael.

JUST KIDDING! (just trying to get him in trouble).

Jeez. Mom drives a 944. How cool is that.

My moms doesnt even know what country Porsches come from, let alone wants to ride in mine. She hates it when I have one of the pcars and makes her ride in it. "These things are way too low and uncomfortable. I dont know how you could stand it."

Funny you say that UD.
My mom loves porsches so I made a point to drive it home on leave once just so she could drive it. She drove it like her Jetta. I had to keep telling her that 1st is good for more than 20mph. Not until she rode with me did she even see any boost on the dial. She did love the car though.

I never thought about geting it, but my soon to be ex bought it (he siad for me) then he drove it and used it to find himself much younger girlfriend with kids. He then took my minivan and left me the 944. So, now I have it, but I can not get into it- both doors do not open. To get in I have to climb through the hutch. My son Michael is taking the door hanles off to see what is wrong with it so he can fix it. I did like driving it while I was able to get into it.
