Need some ideas...
The blower motor is not going on, but i feel a steady flow of heat coming from all vents. The heater control valve will not close, so the core is putting steady heat into the cabin (very hot, annoying heat). The valve will close, and stay closed if vaccum is applied. There is no vaccum to the valve with heat switched off. Vaccum line to firewall is good. Could this be a problem with the climate control unit? Any other ideas? Thanks all.

My 928 (with the same valve) appeared to have good valve action but still leaked hot water into the heater core when closed. A new valve sorted it out. I used one for an Audi 5000.

I had that problem too...easy fix if you can get to the point of the problem (which was hard for a big guy like me). Hope this helps...

is the fuse blown going to the ac or?
I had the same problems when I kept blowing the fuse due to a bad ac clutch.
It would be cold then blow the fuse then be HOT. replace the fuse and it would work fine.
The default setting for the heater valve must be open and the circut with the clutch must also control the heater valve vacuum solinoid.
Good luck.
