There is a simple reason for this. This is the lowest driving offense possible and it doesn't affect insurance rate. If you get a nice hefty speeding ticket you go to the DA and negotiate a fine and plead guilty to DV. The cities get their $$$ and you don't get nailed with higher insurance rates.

I couldnt fabricate a Lexan cover that I liked (ie: Looked good) and having the lenses exposed really started to grow on me, they look MEAN. So I'm going to use some of those 3M covers that they use on the 5 series, which go right on the lense, to protect from rock chips and what not.

Just a bit of info, I've put almost 1000 miles on the car with the lenses exposed, no lexan covers. I have yet to have any rock chips, sand blasting, cracks etc. (knocks on wood) I'm going to put some 3M stone guard on them, but that's the extent of what I plan on doing until I destroy them and get upset.

i was wondering what bulbs u went with? i've been looking for a while but cant find bulbs that will fit that good, i am still gonna keep my pop up head lights (disconnected) and keep my stock nose panel, but i would really appreciate it if u could give me some info on the lights ur using.
